Brunson Presents Reporting Workshop

Journalism instructor Rick Brunson presented a workshop session at the Higher Education Enterprise Mobile App Conference at the University of South Florida in Tampa on Feb. 5.

Brunson’s presentation, “Smart Phone, Smarter Reporting: Teaching Journalism Students How to Get the Most of Out Their Digital Devices to Report the News,” was based on the lesson plans he has developed in his reporting classes at the Nicholson School.

The conference drew 130 app developers, engineers, programmers and information-technology specialists from education and industry, including companies such as Apple, Adobe and AT&T.
