You’re invited: Centric Magazine Party

You are cordially invited to Centric magazine’s fall issue launch party Monday, Nov. 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Pegasus Ballroom of the Student Union. You can pick up the fall issue of the magazine and enjoy some free food and drink, as well as some entertainment provided by the UCF Glee Club and UCF dance troupe, Ruckus. The Centric staff has also organized a DJ in case you feel like dancing.

You can meet the Centric staff as well as some of the people featured in the latest issue. This issue is bigger and better than ever: 24 full-color pages packed with features and photos that spotlight some of UCF’s most interesting, inspiring and provocative people.

Some of this issue’s articles include …

Syria’s Pain: We look at Syria’s civil war through the eyes of Syrian students at UCF.

Gay at Chick-fil-A: What’s it like to be gay and work behind the counter at a company that takes such a strong and public stance against same-sex marriage?

The Man Behind the Sign: UCF’s friendliest face belongs to a homeless man who twirls signs every day at the corner of Alafaya and University. You pass by Bear every day when you leave campus. Meet him and hear his story.
