EVENT: Oyster Mat-Making

Students, faculty and staff you are invited to join Dr. Linda Walters in her ongoing environmental project: Oyster Mat-Making.

Dr. Walters and her team will be making the mats to prepare for restoration efforts in the Indian River Lagoon in 2012.

The community oyster mat-making event is on campus from 1-3 PM on Saturday, February 4 at the Biology Field Building on the edge of campus (Building 90). UCF Biology students, UCF Women’s Club and the Coastal Conservation Association have also been invited.
