New political science graduate student award

The Political Science Department is pleased to announce a new graduate student award. The Pollock-Ellsworth Award will honor a Master’s student for excellence in the appropriate use of political science methodology in addressing questions of interest and importance to the discipline.

Nominations are especially encouraged for MA theses using quantitative methods. However, the award will be granted to the MA thesis showing the best use of quantitative or qualitative techniques. There will be one award per academic year. The Pollock-Ellsworth Award will be in amount of $250. The award is generously funded by Dr. Philip H Pollock III, Professor of Political Science at UCF.
