Charles is a first-year Materials Chemistry graduate student. Prior to graduate school, he obtained his B.S. in Forensic Chemistry from UCF. After graduating from undergrad, he decided to forgo academia and start working in industry, obtaining roles in forensic, environmental, and aerospace laboratories. During his time in forensics, he researched and presented on Fentanyl and its analogs. While working in his current role, in 2022, he decided to pursue his Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry with an emphasis on analytical and aerospace chemistry.
