Biography
Dr. Jessica Waesche received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She is a Licensed Psychologist in Florida and her clinical interests focus on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults. Dr. Waesche initially joined UCF as an adjunct faculty member in 2012 and became a full-time faculty member in the Psychology Department in 2013. Her responsibilities include teaching classes in both the Undergraduate program and the Clinical Psychology MA program. Her teaching interests include courses on topics relevant to clinical psychology, such as abnormal psychology, psychological assessment, and clinical supervision. As a teaching-focused faculty member, Dr. Waesche does not have an active research laboratory but is committed to supporting student research. She is also engaged in research on the scholarship of teaching and learning.
