Biography

Professor Morgan joined UCF from Old Dominion University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Louisville in 1968. His preferred area of general interest is in Human Factors Psychology and he is interested in working with students in the conduct of research related to Human Factors, Industrial and Organizational or general Experimental Psychology. Dr. Morgan has served as the university’s Associate Dean of Graduate Studies. He is currently a Senior Research Professor in the Team Performance Laboratory.
He served on the faculty in the Psychology Department from 1987 to 2007 and also served as associate dean for the College of Arts and Sciences and associate dean of Graduate Studies. His research in the field of human factors has led to more than 50 journal articles and book chapters. He also has 50 technical reports and 137 professional presentations to his name. Included in his many honors is the Franklin V. Taylor Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Field of Engineering Psychology, which was awarded by the American Psychological Association in 1997.
