Biography

Dr. Nina Steigerwald earned her B.A. in Psychology and Healthcare Services Management & Leadership from Rollins College and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from UCF. She is passionate about teaching and research, currently serving as an adjunct professor at both UCF and Rollins. Her research focuses on occupational health psychology, including workplace stress, employee health behaviors, and work–life balance, with her doctoral work examining how virtual nature supports recovery from workplace stress. In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Steigerwald works as an Organizational Development and Training Consultant at a boutique leadership development and coaching firm, where she partners with executives and organizations to design and deliver coaching, leadership programs, and customized interventions.
