Biography

Wayne Burroughs retired from the Department of Psychology in 2004 after 35 years of service at UCF. As a faculty member, he played a key role in forming the department’s master’s degree program in industrial/organizational psychology and directed the program for 30 years. Under his leadership, the program became a model for other universities. Burroughs mentored a number of students who are leaders in the field, including Eduardo Salas, the college’s first Trustee Chair. Burroughs has served as an expert witness in court cases regarding discrimination and as a consultant for numerous companies, including Coca-Cola and the Bank of New Zealand.
