Excellence in Online Education
UCF ranks at No. 15 in the nation for the Best Online Colleges for 2016, according to thebestschools.org. Online learning has increased tremendously over the last decade. It is estimated that over 7 million higher education students are e-learners. E-learners make up about one third of the overall higher education student body population in the U.S.
UCF’s College of Sciences has several online bachelor degree programs that also rank in the top 15 in the nation:
- Online B.A. Anthropology degree has a current ranking at No. 5
- Online B.A Sociology degree has a current ranking at No. 6.
- Online B.A. Political Science degree has a current ranking at No. 8
- Online B.A. Psychology degree has a current ranking at No. 14
According to the website, the top 25 online degree programs in the nation were ranked based on quality of program, types and range of courses offered, and faculty strength, as well as school awards, rankings, and reputation.
UCF’s Anthropology degree program helps students develop a broad understanding of humans and the human condition. UCF’S Sociology degree program helps to educate students on the systematic study of social change, group life, and the social causes and consequences of human behavior. Students learn to analyze the political process on local, national, and global scales. Political science students receive valuable preparation for participating in community organizations, public policy dialogues, and electoral politics.
