Event: America Ferrera comes to UCF
Join the Multicultural Student Center as we host this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month keynote speaker, America Ferrera.
America Ferrera is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her Emmy Award-winning portrayal of “Betty Suarez” on the ABC hit comedy Ugly Betty, but Ferrera is also a devoted humanitarian. In 2010, Ferrera was awarded the Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s Inspira Award, which recognized her contributions as a role model through her work as an actress and activist.
America will be speaking and will also be conducting a Questions & Answer session at the end of the speech.
The event is free and open to all students, faculty and staff.
