Human Communication Professor Wins Award

Human communication faculty member Shari Hodgson was awarded the Florida Communication Association Teacher of the Year Award at its annual convention on Oct. 19. The award honors FCA members and fellow NSC faculty member, Dr. Christine Hanlon presented the award to Hodgson at the event.

“Shari knows how to deliver excellence and inspire it in others,” said Gino Perrotte, who nominated Hodgson for the award. “This award is well deserved. She’s truly an outstanding mentor, friend and woman. We are so fortunate to benefit from her wisdom, knowledge and generous spirit.”
