Arboretum Student Spotlight – Meet Maximillion Meader

Hello, my name is Max! I am a 4th year Biology student with an Environmental Studies minor. I began at the Arboretum as a volunteer in 2019, and currently I am one of the Co-coordinators leading the team responsible for managing the greenhouse and developing the nursery. I love taking care of and working with plants, but more than that, I love inspiring that passion for plants in others. Thanks to the Arboretum, I have learned so much and continue to learn each day. That said, I feel like I have only scratched the surface of all there is to know about plants and their importance in everyday life. I am excited to continue to grow and learn even after I leave UCF!
