Dr. John Schultz featured in Orlando Sentinel
UCF forensic-anthropology professor Dr. John Schultz was featured in the Orlando Sentinel for his work with Orange-Osceola Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia on a case involving the appearance of two skulls unearthed from a sandbar on the edge of an old Winter Garden migrant-worker camp.
From the article, “Archaeologists — called in after the initial discovery of the skulls — found small shredded pieces of newspaper inside some of the bone fragments, broken pieces of clay pottery, a bag made of rope and an intricately woven purse with a unique brown-and-tan design.”
