NYT on UCF scientist’s study

In a new paper recently published online by the journal PLos One, a group of American and Canadian scientists outlined a new way to analyze the costs of invasive insects. They say that previous efforts at such an analysis have been flawed largely because they double-counted damages. Instead, this group looked in depth at three major bugs: the emerald ash borer, gypsy moth and hemlock woolly adelgid.
