UCF makes donation to Cardin Home

The Concerned Taxi Drivers Foundation (CTDF) in collaboration with the University of Central Florida (UCF) did great deeds today (July 20) with not one but two donations of linens to both the Cardin Home and the JNF General Hospital.

The first stop was the Cardin Home where members of the CTDF and UCF gathered and handed over a generous and greatly appreciated donation to Gail Cranstoun, Supervisor of the Home and Nurse Bass, the Nurse in charge.

President of the CTDF, Winston Duporte, in making the presentation explained that the Foundation came about as a result of the group wanting to give back to the community and institutions such as the Home, and in keeping with their mission, they have made the donation which is one of many.

Upon receiving the donation, Nurse Bass thanked CTDF and UCF for their generous contribution towards the welfare of the Home. She said that the members of the Home are always appreciative when persons take the initiative to make contributions.
