UCF students create piece worth national attention

UCF RTV students made a splash on the national stage, with a 3-minute plus piece on the website for the PBS Program “Washington Week with Gwen Ifill.” Lindsey Taylor and Shannon Garlin shot, wrote, and edited the piece looking at the opinions of UCF students regarding the Presidential Primary. Washington Week producers asked the students to do the story on Thursday afternoon and they were able to turn it around by Friday afternoon. The piece was an entire Knightly News effort, as everyone pitched in to help shoot the story as well as filled in for our two reporters on the newscast.
