UCF wins grant from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration awarded four University of Central Florida professors with a grant worth $2,929,527.00.

Two biology professors, Dr. Linda Walters and Dr. John Weishampel, are part of the prestigious project.

The award is an interdisciplinary grant that also involves professors for Civil Engineering. Dr. Scott Hagen from Engineering is the lead PI for the project “Integrated Modeling for the Assessment of Ecological Impacts of Sea Level Rise,” which will be funded until August 2015.
