Biography
Angelica Yeboah is a third-year PhD student dedicated to researching emotions and post-conflict reconciliation process. Her dedication to human security and sustainable peace was sparked by her firsthand observation of an ethnic conflict in northern Ghana. This experience inspired her lifelong goal of rebuilding societies impacted by conflict and trauma.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Archaeology from the University of Ghana and an MA in Political Science from Ohio University. Her academic journey includes serving as a Teaching Assistant and Researcher in the Department of Political Science at the University of Ghana (2018-2019), where she led undergraduate classes in political research, international politics, human resource management, and political economy. She also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Ohio University’s Department of Political Science (2019-2021).
In addition to her academic roles, Angelica has worked as a field researcher for Konrad Adenauer-Stiftung Ghana (2017-2019), an Erasmus Mundus scholar (2017-2018), worked as a quality specialist for Decisionone Corporation Company (2021-2022) and an administrative assistance for Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center (2020-2025). She aspires to become a security policy analyst for the United Nations Security Council, contributing to global efforts in security and peacebuilding.
