Jeff Dambly joined the faculty of the University of Central Florida in the fall of 2025. Before joining UCF as an instructor, he served in various roles at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement over more than 12 years in the department. He finished his career at FDLE as a deputy general counsel, where he focused on matters of intelligence and homeland security law for over a decade. In that role, he also served as a privacy officer for several fusion centers in Florida. He has also served as the director for FDLE’s Office of Statewide Intelligence.
Jeff has an extensive history of adjunct instructing dating back to 2014, when he taught International Law at UCF. As an adjunct, he has also taught at the Florida State University College of Law, the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and FSU Panama City. He has extensive experience instructing and training in both law and policy related to national security, homeland security, and criminal law.
