Biography
Kayla Georgiafandis received her B.A.(2007) in International Relations from Kent State University and her M.A. (2013) in International Security and Conflict Resolution from American Military University. She commissioned into the United States Air Force in 2007 as a Cyberspace Operations Officer. Kayla Georgiafandis is currently a Lieutenant Colonel, with experience in teaching space and cyber strategy, as well as leading diverse teams in complex environments and conducting offensive and defensive cybersecurity missions across the strategic, operational, and tactical levels. She has developed and authored many TTP (Tactics, Training, and Procedures) manuals and documents supporting senior leadership initiatives. Kayla Georgiafandis has a proven track record of collaborating effectively with interagency partners in the U.S. and with partner nations, with a focus on rapidly analyzing, developing, and implementing solutions to complex cybersecurity problems.
