Dr. Steven Smallpage is a political scientist whose research focuses on public opinion, political psychology, and the dynamics of democratic citizenship. He studies how individuals form political beliefs, how trust and skepticism shape civic behavior, and how longstanding ideas influence contemporary political attitudes. His work combines empirical methods with the history of political thought. At UCF, he teaches courses on American public opinion, political behavior, and political theory.
