The University of Canberra is situated in Australia’s capital city, home of its Commonwealth Government, situated between the country’s two largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne. Canberra, known to locals as ‘the 20 minute city’ because nothing is very far away, is home to a population approaching 350,000. Students will have an opportunity to take courses in a variety of areas across the scope of political science discipline.

The School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs is pleased to announce that it has entered into an exchange agreement with Leuphana University Lüneburg, Germany. Students will take courses focusing on IR, comparative government, and European politics.

Fall & Spring semesters
The University of Groningen in the Netherlands is designed to expose UCF students to professional and academic practices outside of the US. In addition, participants in this exchange are expected to develop skills to adapt to a different academic and geographical environment. The University of Groningen was founded in 1641 and provides high quality education and research in a broad range of disciplines, is internationally oriented, works actively with business partners, public institutions and the government, as well as, ranks among the best universities in Europe. Students will take courses focusing on law, conflict, and IR.

Malmo University – Sweden
Fall semester only
MALMO University was established in 1998 and provides high quality education and research in a broad range of disciplines, is internationally oriented, works actively with business partners, public institutions and the government.
MALMO’s education model differs from the elective style here at UCF. Students participating in the exchange will select a topic module of study, and will take four courses covering different dimensions of that topic. Modules include International Relations, Human Rights, and other areas.

The American University in Cairo was founded in 1919 by Americans devoted to education and service in the Middle East. For its first 27 years, the University was shaped by its founding president, Charles A. Watson, who wished to create an English-language University based on high standards of conduct and scholarship, and to contribute to the intellectual growth, discipline and character of the future leaders of Egypt and the region.
