Dr. Dave Breininger’s research interests focus on integrating science and conservation management emphasizing endangered wildlife populations, habitat and ecosystem dynamics. His oldest study (30 years) focuses on the Florida scrub-jay and his newest topics include multistate modeling of seagrasses in the Indian River Lagoon ecosystem and studies of rare and elusive species, such as the east coast diamondback terrapin.
