Dr. Tammy Foster has experience in the design and implementation of a scrub restoration program for Kennedy Space Center; monitoring vegetation changes after combinations of cutting and burning to restore long-unburned scrub habitat; monitoring survival and growth of scrub species planted in former agricultural sites; and conducting research on scrub oaks using dendrochronology and plant physiology techniques.
