Dr. Tosha Dupras Appointed Interim Dean of College of Sciences
A message from Michael Johnson, Ph.D., Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
I am pleased to announce that Associate Dean Tosha Dupras, Ph.D., has agreed to serve as interim dean of the College of Sciences while I fulfill my role as interim provost.
I am confident Dr. Dupras will do an outstanding job during my temporary absence. She is a professor of Anthropology with an active research program in archaeology, most recently in Sudan. Before becoming an associate dean, Dr. Dupras successfully chaired the Department of Anthropology. Her awards and honors include the UCF Women Making History in 2016; the UCF College of Sciences Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award (three times!); and a three-year appointment as an associate research scientist at the American Museum of Natural History.
I appreciate Dr. Dupras’ willingness to take on this role. Her leadership qualities will be an asset during this period.
Please join me in congratulating Dr. Dupras.
