Internship opportunities for political science students
Political Science students in Florida have several options for internships right now.
Lee Constantine
Former State Senator Lee Constantine is looking for interns to assist with his campaign for Seminole County Commissioner, District 3. His team needs interns to assist in the office, attend events, do precinct work, volunteer for the phone bank and wave signs. Sandy Adams
Sandy Adams is also looking for interns. Adams is running for re-election in the 7th Congressional district which includes UCF. Sandy is a 17-year veteran of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and was elected in 2010 with 60% of the vote. The campaign is currently seeking interns to be involved in various levels of the campaign to include grassroots organizing, constituent response, organizational tasks and strategy implementation. The Republican primaries are on August 14th and the campaign is seeking interns to start immediately for work through the primary with an option for renewing for the general election. Republican campaign
The republican congressional campaign is looking for a few motivated students to help run its Volusia County office. Ron is a Navy Veteran and a graduate of Yale and Harvard and he is currently looking for students to help him win his become the 6th Congressional district’s next Representative. Students will take an immediate leadership role within the campaign and will learn about; targeting and identifying potential voters; grassroots outreach; campaign coordination and management; and a host of other valuable skills.
