Upon graduation, she plans on pursing graduate studies in clinical psychology. Dhanraj has traveled to Guyana as well as across Canada and the east coast of the U.S. During the fellowship, which is sponsored by the India Center, she is conducting research on mental health in India.
“I have always been interested in the cultural values of India. I am excited to see how these values affect the lives of individuals in India. Bringing attention to the issues surrounding mental illness in India is very important, considering it is the country with the second-highest population in the world,” Dhanraj said.
