I have heard of 3D printing before, but I had never actually seen it happen before. I was oddly excited to see this little machine in action and quickly convinced Addie to let us print a sloth coin for CATE (something that could easily be a sample of something we could use on our actual project, of course). Here’s the process the machine goes through in order to create the coin:
