Haley Allen DeMarco is an Assistant Professor of Security Studies at the University of Central Florida. She received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale University in May 2026. She is a former Harry Frank Guggenheim Emerging Scholar (2024-2025) and USIP Peace Scholar Fellow (2023-2024). Her research interests bridge the fields of Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Security Studies. Her current work focuses on state repression, security reform, and policing in authoritarian and post-authoritarian contexts, with a regional focus on Latin America’s Southern Cone.
