Jack Garigliano (PhD, Northwestern University) is an assistant professor in the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs. He studies the politics of labor and employment in the United States, in particular how the changing nature of work affects political behavior, organizing, and public policy. Other research interests include mixed methodology and the comparative political economy of Western Europe. His work is supported by the Russell Sage Foundation, among other organizations. Before entering academia, he worked as a news and content editor for Microsoft.
