Regular Meetings Schedule
- 1st Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at either Psychology Lounge or IST-PII (TBA)
- Begin bi-weekly meetings (one major meeting and a minor meeting)
- Minor meetings will be for the officers, but all members are welcome to attend
Fall Kick-off event
On September 10th 2011, the Fall Kick-off event will be held during the day; it will be a picnic with new students and professors.
New Student Orientation
Orientation is on August 19th 2011. Orientation party is that night.

Lab Group Picture for HFES Poster
This picture will be showcasing all labs within a program. Brittany sent an e-mail with all the information about the lab group picture that will be taken on July 11th 2011 at noon. If you want to showcase your lab please send Brittany information about your lab that you would like included in the poster.
Space Shuttle Atlantis Launch
- Next Friday 07/08/11 at 11:26 a.m.
- An e-mail will be sent out during the week with a reminder and instructions on where and when to meet for carpooling.
HFES SGA Allocation Request
- Beth sent an e-mail with information on what to do and what forms to fill out in order to get travel money from SGA.
- Ben, Katelyn, and James will be heading a sub-committee for HFES
- We will be contacting our senator about more HFES funding (Ben)
Guest Speakers
- Wickens
- A Google representative
- Someone form government (military)
- Perhaps form a panel discussion between UCF professors and other guest speakers about HF related subjects
- Planning to do this in October (National Ergonomics Month)
