Chapter Meeting

Gold Status
We are currently on track. The only accomplishment needed is to do a field trip.
Nominations
There are a totoal of six positions available (President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary, Social Chair, and Web Master). Social Chair and Web Master are the only two appointed positions. Please e-mail Joe at joekeebler at gmail dot com with nominations by March 1st. He will then send out an email with the candidates around March 5th. Final voting due date is March 11th. Note: If you have not paid your dues you will not be allowed to vote.
March for Babies
Will take place on February 28th on the UCF Main Campus. Currently, Brittany is looking for other charities that have more of an educational line, if you know or can find one please do not hesitate to contact Brittany.
NASA
In the next couple of weeks Joe will send out an email notifying of a chosen day to go. It will most likely be during the weekend, and the entrance costs $20 through SGA.
HFES 2010
Proposal due dates is on Feb. 19th. 1st year students should plan to attend the meeting. SGA can give you money to pay your airfare for up to $250 (see Beth for more details).
Anti-Valentines Day
The plan is to get together before Valentine’s Day (Feb. 12th), and go bowling at Boardwalk. That way everyone gets to celebrate Valentine’s Day even if they do not have a significant other.
HFES Bookdrive
Currently we have a large amount of books to ship out but no money. Additionally, when we do start shipping out, help will be needed to develop spreadsheets and keep track of receipts.
Fundraising
For both the society and the book drive another car wash is planned before June.
