Officer Meeting
Location: Partnership II Building, Research Park

To Do:
- Calendar pictures need to be optimized and formatted for printing
- We need to get prices for printing calendars
- Our first general membership meeting will be September 16, 2008 at 4:30 pm. We’ll discuss: getting together to go out to dinner during the HFES Conference in NY, first tailgating will be October 4th, 2008, there will be a Halloween party Oct 24th at Aaron Pepe’s house, encourage people to pay membership dues!
- We need to turn in the SGA Organization Update Form – this is due at the beginning of each fall and spring semester
- We’re having a Karaoke Night at Firkin and Kegler’s by Waterford Lakes on September 11, 2001 at 10 pm.
- Mentoring is going well…Liz has matched all incoming students with an upperclassmen.
- We still need to update the chapter constitution!
- Projects for NEM: teach-in at a local school, science fair judging in November, video game display at the end of October
Ideas:
- We might consider hosting a skating party as an end-of-semester social event.
- Consider getting a presentation from the Faculty Teaching and Learning Center in the Spring – presentation or teaching skills as professional development.
