- President – Jazmyn Donovan
Jazmyn is a doctoral student in the Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology program at The University of Central Florida. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Psychology at Arizona State University. She has conducted research on human performance, exploring the impacts of various environmental factors on vigilance performance, stress, and workload. Other research interests include the impact of technology use on cognition and performance, exploring topics such as app usability and social media’s impact on memory, preference, and attention span. In her nonexistant spare time, she enjoys playing with her dog, going to theme parks, and reading.
- Vice President – Elizabeth (Lizzie) Codick
Lizzie is a third year doctoral candidate in the Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology PhD program at the University of Central Florida. She received her Associate’s degree in Applied Computer Technology (2018), Bachelor’s in Human-Centered Computing (2020), and Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (2022) at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Her research interests include UI and UX design, humans’ behavior with technology as individuals within their many and varied social contexts, and accessibility/inclusive designs. Lizzie has a background in front-end development and has worked on research projects as both a researcher and developer.
- Secretary – Maha Naseer
Maha Naseer is a first-year student in the Human Factors and Cognitive Sciences Ph.D. Program. She works with Dr. Mustapha Mouloua in the Transportation Research Group with focusing on distracted driving and individual differences. Originally from Atlanta, she received her B.S. in psychology at Georgia State University in 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and playing piano.
- Treasurer – Sahara Brodsky
Sahara is a first year PhD student in Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology program at UCF. She works with Dr. Valerie Sims in the Applied Cognition and Technology Lab (ACAT). She received her BS in Psychology from the University of North Carolina and her MA in Psychological Sciences from the Catholic University of America. Her research interests include human/non-human interaction and how individual differences affect people interact with technology. In her spare time she likes going to theme parks, reading, and playing video games.

Phuoc is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology program at UCF. She works under Dr. Joseph Schmidt’s advisement in the Attention and Memory Lab to study human-AI interaction. She received her BS in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Sciences from UCF in 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting, creating musical melodies, and exploring new places.
