Biography
Joe Piaskowski is a current MA graduate student specializing in Archaeological Anthropology at the University of Central Florida. Joe received a B.S in Photography and a B.A. in Anthropology from University of Central Florida in 2021 and 2023, respectively. He is working under the advisement of Dr. Brigitte Kovacevich focusing on Lithics Analysis, Photogrammetry, and Geographic Information Systems, Joe’s thesis research examines experimental lighting on Obsidian Stone Tools and Artifacts in Photogrammetry and 3-D modeling.
Joe plans to complete his degree in Spring 2026. Upon graduation he wants to continue his research while studying for a PhD.
