Working with Dr. Rodriguez
My goal as a lecturer and applied cultural and medical anthropologist is for students to identify and experience the intersection between theory, methods and practice. Students who focus on cultural or medical anthropology and have interests that broadly overlap with my research or geographic areas, listed below, may be interested in working with me. If you are interested in working with me, I ask that you consider and relay to me what your specific interests are, what type of jobs you are considering and how my background and knowledge can contribute to your success. I generally like to meet with students in person, if possible, alternately Teams or Zoom will suffice. I like to have a comfortable line of communication with students where you provide updates on a predetermined basis. I see my job as guiding you through your interests and the future path that anthropology will take you.
