The Soil and Sediment Lab (SASL) is a 760 ft2 core wet laboratory for the Biology Department, located in the Biological Sciences Building. Together, the ABL and SASL labs are fully equipped to analyze a suite of chemical, physical, and biological soil and water parameters. SASL’s equipment includes:
- Harvest Right Freeze Drier
- Yatherm Wet Soil Sieve
- Shaker
- Filtration System Station
- Thermo-Fisher Muffle Furnace
- (1) Fume Hood
- Ultra-Pure and DI Water System on Tap
- Standard laboratory equipment such as scales, pipettes, ovens, and microscopes.
