The eutrophication of lake and stream environment.

Research

Dr. Osborne’s limnological research focuses on eutrophication of lake and stream environments. Field studies have included the communities of aquatic plants, zooplankton, benthic invertebrates and fishes. Aquatic plant control studies have been conducted on a number of Central Florida lakes to determine the efficacy of the grass carp and aquatic herbicides. Presently, Dr. Osborne’s research centers on the ecology and diversity of zooplankton in Florida lakes.
