Biography

Dr. Katherine (Katie) Martin is an evolutionary biologist interested in the processes that lead to biological diversity, from a gene to a species-level scale. Her research interests include the immunogenomic evolution of reptiles and amphibians, as well as the genomic implications and consequences of hybridization. She graduated with her PhD from UCF in 2024, and is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr. Kathryn Everson at Oregon State University.
