Research
Polyploidy is one of the most important processes in the evolutionary history of flowering plants. I am interested in detecting ancient genome duplications and investigating their link to plant trait innovations using phylogenomic approaches. At the Bulbous Lab, I explore these questions with the economically and ecologically important angiosperm family Asparagaceae.
