Faculty Nomination
We are accepting nominations of full-time faculty members of any rank who have completed exceptional achievements in a broad range of service activities. Please also consider activities that are notable but that may not typically attract attention or recognition based on the usual metrics of dollars or numbers of proposals.
These activities must have occurred between August 2023 and December 2025. Faculty members may nominate a colleague to their chair/director for consideration. Individual faculty members or a group of faculty may be nominated.
Deadlines
- By February 11, 2026: Faculty should submit their nominations to their unit chair or director to allow sufficient time for review and approval.
- By February 13, 2026: Unit chairs or directors must approve and submit all nominations to COSAwards@ucf.edu.
Chairs/Directors
All nominees must be supported by the department chair or school director. Each unit may nominate a total of three (3) or up to 10% of your full-time faculty members (whichever is the higher number).
While these recognitions will be primarily based on chair /director nominations, the college may acknowledge additional faculty member’s accomplishments.
Submissions
Chairs/directors should use the nomination form to identify their selected candidate(s) by listing their activities and/or accomplishments and providing a brief statement that highlights their exceptional achievements. All nominations must be sent to COSAwards@ucf.edu by the deadline.
Please submit one form per nominee or group of nominees.
