College of Sciences Course Overrides
If you are requesting a College of Sciences course and are meeting the prerequisite for the class, please submit an override here.
If you are a student from another institution taking a College of Science course at UCF transiently in Fall 2026, please follow the instructions here.
Please note the following:
- Overrides are reviewed in the order they are received to our inbox. We cannot expedite the override request. When you submit the form, you are agreeing to processing times of between 1 – 2 business days. Your override may be processed earlier, but it is not a guarantee.
- Overrides are reviewed during business hours Monday to Friday (typically between 9 AM – 5 PM). Please note: due to override staff availability, the COS Override Qualtrics Form will close at 3 PM on Friday, August 28th. Paper departmental override forms and Undergraduate Registration Agreement (URA) forms are also due on 8/28 at 3 PM. We recommend if you need a College of Science course after that time, to look into the COS Late Add/Swap Petition process. These petitions are not a guarantee to be approved. The deadline to submit the Late Add/Swap petition to coslateaddswap@ucf.edu is Friday, September 4th at 11:59 PM.
- Overrides are manually reviewed by a team of individuals. Completing the form does not guarantee approval into the section. If approved, you will either be enrolled directly into the section provided or given permission to waitlist for the specific section.
