The Jacksonville Jaguars Get Their Knight In Shining Armor

BBKnightsJagsJust a shot down I-95, Tostitos Bowl-winning quarterback, Blake Bortles, now has a place to call home with the Jacksonville Jaguars.  The 6’5”, 230 lbs Bortles has the frame to hold the weight of being third overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Hailing from the University of Central Florida, and the Nicholson School of Communication in the College of Sciences, Bortles’ impact on the program and Tostitos Bowl victory garnered him great praise.  His 2012 and 2013 seasons, along with his impressive showings at his NFL combine and Pro-Day, elevated his stock, sending him to the top of most NFL executive draft boards.

Laden with a sturdy frame, poise in the pocket, and strong leadership qualities — evidenced by the Knights resilient come-from-behind victory over Teddy Bridgewater and Louisville last season — Blake has positioned himself as the new face of the Jaguars’ organization.

As a surprise to many experts, the Jags opted to go with the well-rounded prototype as opposed to the flashy, improvisational playmaker that is Johnny Manziel — selected 22nd overall to the Cleveland Browns. Though Johnny Football has won the hearts of football fans across the nation, the only opinions that truly matter are the one’s calling the shots.

To the Jacksonville Jaguars, this knight’s armor outshines the flash.
