We are proud to host the Serbest Foundation Kurdish Studies Awards, an initiative dedicated to recognizing excellence in Kurdish studies scholarship across the social sciences and humanities. Supported by the Serbest Foundation Kurdish Studies Awards Endowed Fund, these awards celebrate groundbreaking research, intellectual innovation, and distinguished scholarly contributions that advance the understanding of Kurdish history, politics, society, culture, and identity.

The awards include the Serbest Best Book Award in Kurdish Studies (Social Sciences), the Serbest Best Book Award in Kurdish Studies (Humanities), and the Serbest Lifetime Achievement Award in Kurdish Studies. Together, these awards aim to promote high-quality scholarship, encourage interdisciplinary dialogue, and support the continued growth of Kurdish studies as a vibrant and globally recognized field of inquiry.
