Originally from Brazil, Mariana spent some time studying in Nebraska before earning her Master’s degree in Chemistry from both UNESP (Brazil) and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She has experience working as a Teaching Assistant in academia and as an Analyst in the chemical industry.

At our department, Mariana supports the preparation of teaching labs and manages the chemistry stockroom.
