‘ToKnight’s the Night’

Toknights the Night

There’s a brand-new studio show in progress Monday nights at NSC, and it’s called “ToKnight’s the Night.” The project was spearheaded by Humberto Vileno and other ambitious Nicholson School of Communication (NSC) Radio-Television production students. They’ve been working outside the classroom to practice, learn and create all the recorded content they can before they graduate, and this show is their newest, live-recorded endeavor. The 30-minute, late-night format talk show, hosted by Cinema Studies student Chris Nielsen, had its first airing Oct. 19 on the new high-definition NSC Channel #734, campus wide. It sported an interview with R-TV students Erika Fox and Austin Perry, radio hosts of “2Knights With Fox and Perry.” Musical guest, student Jeremy Tache appeared as well.

“ToKnight’s the Night” will feature a musical guest each week, and cover a variety of lively topics. It will run for a total of seven weeks, through December 7. The NSC production group – comprising some 25 students to date – is looking for audience members to support and help round out the show. Audience members can attend for free. So, if you’ll be in town on a Monday night and would like to see what Nicholson is doing in its R-TV production programs, stop on by! Just arrive at Nicholson’s R-TV studio between 6:30-6:45 p.m. (no later).
