This talk will focus on the transition from academia to practicing political science. Dr. Trace C. Lasley will discuss his research interests, past and current work, and his job as a senior strategist for the Department of Homeland Security as well as his work on the National Security Council. He will also share his view of the academic discipline as a practitioner.
