The Central Florida ICCAE Colloquium on Proliferation and Counterproliferation

The Central Florida ICCAE is proud to announce its Spring 2023 Colloquium!

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 29th from 9:30AM to 4:00PM in the Live Oak Ballroom.

The Potential for a Cascade in Nuclear Weapons Proliferation
Nicholas Miller (Dartmouth) looks at Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and how it has affected the debate about a possible cascade of proliferation among both aggressor and vulnerable states. This talk will examine how likely such a nuclear proliferation cascade is—and discuss what steps can be taken to mitigate these risks.

Speakers from the Department of Energy talk their role in safeguarding the US’ nuclear weapons, as well as how the DoE is involved in proliferation and counterproliferation efforts.

Members of the ODNI ICCAE team will discuss career opportunities in the intelligence community and how the ICCAE is here to help with those opportunities.

Scholarship and the Intelligence Community
Panelists will discuss how and when academic researchers and the intelligence community can bridge the gap with each other to inform research, intelligence, and policy.
