Degree Requirements

To complete the B.S. degree in Social Science at UCF, you must do the following:

  1. Complete minors from 3 of the following programs: Anthropology, Communication, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, or Women’s & Gender Studies
  2. Complete introductory courses within the three disciplines chosen (e.g., ANT2000 General Anthropology) with a minimum grade of “C” (2.0)
  3. Complete one advanced methods course (POS 3703, PSY3213C, SYA4300C or COM3311) with a minimum grade of “C” (2.0)
  4. Complete one statistics course, STA2014C or STA 2023, with a minimum grade of “C” (2.0)
